Flowers of Remembrance
Sunday, 24 May 2026!

Flowers of Remembrance provides members of the public with the unique opportunity to actually walk onto the plaza at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, stand where only Tomb Sentinels stand every other day of the year, and place a flower at the Tomb.
The only thing you need to do to participate is go to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery on Sunday, 24 May 2026, and follow the direction of our volunteers.
Our team will have a flower for each person,...having prepared them for distribution, set up the site, and be in position to help you navigate through the line.
While you're in line, you'll get to engage with our volunteers who can offer you information about the ceremony and the Tomb. We'll have former Tomb Sentinels, former Regimental Commanders of 3d Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard)--the US Army infantry unit responsible for guarding the Tomb, the Honorary Colonel of the 3d Infantry Regiment, and longtime volunteers, all interested in talking with you and answering your questions.
Take advantage of this special opportunity on Sunday, 24 May 2026, and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
Please consider donating to help us with this effort. Go to: https://tomboftheunknownsoldierfoundation.com/donate
Please Save the Date of Sunday, 24 May 2026, and plan to join us at Arlington National Cemetery at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Held each year in Arlington National Cemetery, Flowers of Remembrance invites members of the public to lay a flower at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on the day before Memorial Day.
This rare opportunity—often reserved for Sentinels and military leaders—allows visitors to honor service and sacrifice in a powerful, personal way. Each flower laid connects individual remembrance with the collective legacy of service.
Details for the 2026 event will be updated here every few weeks.
